Jamie Northcott – Director

Born with an entrepreneurial mindset, Jamie brings a wealth of business experience to all his client relationships. After completing his accountancy exams at John Moores University, Jamie has worked in the accountancy practice for over 20 years.

Jamie has also successfully built, managed and sold several businesses in a wealth of industries. Clients find this depth and breadth of experience unique and invaluable, and the insight he provides has helped many successful businesses develop from start up to become very successful businesses.

Jamie has experience working with many  accounting systems, but he is a Sage Accountants Partner specialist, the only one in the whole of North Wales and the North West.

Jamie's dedication to his clients and commercial experience has made an incredible mark on the people that work at Task Accounting, with a keen eye for client's needs, Jamie is confident that the customer service offered here at Task Accounting is exceptional because everyone shares the same passion for delivering first-class service.

In his spare time, Jamie enjoys to do sports in general, but he is particularly keen on Skiing, Golf and Tennis.


Sue Lawlan – Practice Manager

Sue is our Practice manager and she has been working at Task Accounting since May 2008.

Since then she has ensured the coordination of all administrative duties. On a daily basis she works closely with everyone in the office to ensure the smooth running of all projects.

Sue has over 15 years ' experience in management and administration and an extensive knowledge of personal and business tax matters, including tax computations for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.

Beyond all her expertise in management and administration, Sue deals with the management of accounts, monthly bookkeeping, VAT returns, MGD and CIS. As the Practice Manager, Sue is also the one that reminds our clients of their deadlines to make sure everybody is compliant with the regulations.


Tom Williams MAAT – Senior Accountant

Tom joined Task Accounting in June 2009, having started his career in accountancy in 2005. Tom has gained a wealth of practice knowledge and experience during this time which he is continuing to develop.

Tom 's main role at Task Accounting involves over-seeing the preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company year-end accounts as well as individual and company tax return forms. Tom then reviews and finalises these with our clients. He provides individual help and advice on a variety of business related matters. Tom also deals with complex areas of income taxation, capital gains taxation and corporation taxation.

Tom studied AAT at Llandrillo College and he is currently studying to gain his Chartered Certified Accountant qualification.

In his spare time Tom 's enjoys swimming and he also is involved with a local Scout Group and a Marching Band.


Sarah Parkes MAAT – Accountant

Sarah is a key member of the accounting team and started working at Task Accounting in July 2010. Sarah works exceptionally well with other team members and she is responsible for completing year end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships but her specialisation is in payroll management, VAT returns and tax.

She studied AAT at Llandrillo College and is now studying ACCA to become a Chartered Certified Accountant.

In her spare time Sarah like to do Zumba and photography.


Melissa Northcott – Payroll & Administration

Melissa specialises in Payroll and Administration and started working at Task Accounting in October 2005.

Melissa ensures timely and accurate processing of many payslips on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis, and handles all the related year-end activities.

Her professional, yet calm approach, coupled with her many years ' experience and organisational skills ensures that our client 's payrolls are processed in timely manner in order to allow them to pay their staff correctly and on time.

In her spare time Melissa loves spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities with them. Like any Mum it 's hard finding spare time but when she gets a chance she enjoys going to the gym or out for a run.


Ifan Wyn Roberts BA – Payroll Clerk

Ifan specialises in Payroll and started working at Task Accounting in July 2012 after achieving his degree in Banking and Finance at Bangor University.

Ifan deals with many of our Real Time Information (RTI) requirements, ensuring that all goes smoothly with HRMC and our clients.

In his spare time Ifan enjoys to DJ and is a big football fan.


Linda MacDonald – Bookkeeping Clerk

Linda specialises in VAT returns preparation and has worked at Task Accounting since August 2012.

She is a member of AAT and received her qualifications at Percival Whitley College in Halifax.

In her spare time Linda enjoys gardening, reading books and crocheting.
